ABOUT ME

I’m Pratheeban Elancheliyan —a researcher and senior computer vision engineer with over eight years of experience turning complex visual problems into practical solutions using AI and smart algorithms. Born in the lively town of Kumbakonam, India, my journey has taken me across the globe.

I earned my first master’s degree in Embedded Digital Systems from the University of Sussex in the UK and followed it up with an MSc in International Biometrics from the University of Paris-Est Créteil. My career has been equally international, with exciting stints in the UK, Singapore, France, Portugal, and now Austria, which I’ve called home since 2018.

Here in Austria, I focus on tackling some of the most advanced challenges in computer vision—work that keeps me curious and constantly learning. When I’m not immersed in pixels and data, you’ll find me enjoying test cricket or hitting the badminton court.Whether it’s decoding an image, solving a tricky algorithm, or playing a strategic game, I love a challenge that blends strategy, precision, and a hint of humor.
